Ascension 1 of 5

In the beginning, there were the Keepers: five god-like entities, devoted to protecting the Earth and the realms that surround it. Their leader, the Maker, created a son known only as the Being. But that son was not pure of heart and grew into a threat. His own father made a difficult decision to imprison him in a place of evil, the Shadowlands.

But centuries later, the Being found a way to open the gates of the Shadowlands, in turn unleashing unimaginable monstrosities upon Earth. Once free, the Being found his father, murdered him, and vowed to become humanity’s new god. This is his story.

Zenescope Previews: Dark Queen One-Shot & No Tomorrow 5

Grimm Fairy Tales presents Dark Queen One-Shot (Age of Darkness)

For centuries, it was assumed that fairy tales and fables were fictional stories passed down from generation to generation. However, that is not entirely true.  Beings from four different realms linked to Earth do in fact exist.  These realms are known as Myst, Neverland, Wonderland, and Oz.

Those born of these powerful realms are known as “Highborns” and those with both human and highborn blood are known as “Falsebloods.”  Each of these beings has some form of supernatural ability that sets them far apart from mortal men.  And while many of these beings are good, there are many others who carry evil inside
of them.

Ever since her return from death, the Dark Queen has been hell-bent on restoring her evil regime, the Dark Horde, to its former glory. Armed with modern weapons and a sinister vision, the Dark Queen leads her followers against the Realm Knights as she takes the first steps toward plunging all of the realms into the Age of Darkness.
