Birthday Interview: Ashley

Happy Birthday to our favorite graphic designer, even though none of us can wake up early enough to go to her 5 am spin class!

Z: If you could be any Zenescope character who would you be and why?

A: Marian Quin, powerful witch with awesome powers and a bad ass best friend. I would totally use my witchy powers everyday for everything and I feel like having Robyn as a best friend would be awesome, or at least I would know I always have someone watching my back.

Z: If you were a box of cereal, what would you be and why?

A:  I actually hate cereal but I guess if I have to choose… a box of strawberry frosted Pop-Tarts cause I really really hate cereal and Pop-Tarts are better.

Z: If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring.

A: Am I stuck on the island trying to get home or vacationing there? Each situation clearly calls for different items. If I’m stuck then I would bring 1. some sort of raft or boat with a solar powered engine, 2. a salt water conversion kit, and 3. a fishing poll. If I’m vacationing then 1. sunscreen 2. kindle loaded with books and 3. screw-top wine… all the wine.

Z: What animal would make the best type of president if that animal kingdom ever rises up and takes over?

A: Hmm that’s an interesting question. I think something from the cat family. They probably won’t be the best but I feel like if the animal kingdom ever did rise up cats would be first in line to take over the world. I have 2 cats and they are pretty clever and sneaky plus they already walk around like they run the world.

Z:  If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: I’m a spin instructor as well so this is a really hard question, I have a huge music collection. Maybe something super catchy that would get stuck in your head like “Mah Na Mah Na” it could leave everyone I see with a very annoying gift.

Z: What is your favorite part about working at Zenescope?

A: Besides my amazing coworkers… all the artwork I get to see. I really enjoy getting to see interior and cover art from beginning to end, it’s an interesting view into the artist mind and work methods. The creativity at Zenescope is really inspiring.

Thank you Ashley for answering our ridiculous birthday questions! Now the tune “Mah Na Mah Na” can be stuck in everyone’s head until the next birthday interview! IMG_1548
